Latinas and Immigrants
Safe Passage provides specialized counseling and advocacy services to Latino/a and immigrant survivors through Project Access.
Language barriers and legal issues mean that victims in these communities often experience greater obstacles to resources than other communities. To learn more about the impact of domestic violence on Latina and immigrant communities, visit the Want Info section.
Project Access exists to:
- Promote safety, justice, and healing for Latino/a and immigrant survivors and their families
- Support Latino and immigrant communities in identifying, supporting, and building safety for survivors of domestic violence in their communities
- Support the service provider network of Hampshire County in becoming more culturally and trauma-informed
- Develop and distribute materials and resources in a variety of languages.
